The film RITUAL will be screened on Wednesday, January 27 in London. The short film, made by Lior Shamriz for his ORPHAN STORIES cycle, is a hommage to Maya Deren’s Ritual in Transfigured Time.
The screening is part of ÖZLEM EXTRAVAGANZA, a one night event curated by Naama Yuria and Jack Barraclough in Ozlem, Ocakbasi Restaurant, Dalston, 85 Stoke Newington Road, London. Also in the exhibition works by Matthew De Pulford, Rachel Horwood and Imri Kahn. The event starts at 18.00

The film RETURN RETURN will be screened at the FORUM EXPANDED of the BERLIN FILM FESTIVAL (Berlinale).
The 26 minutes film is one of three SATELLITE FILMS, made by Lior Shamriz around his fiction film SATURN RETURNS.
The screenings will take place on February 16 and 18 at the Kino Arsenal.

SATURN RETURNS is nominated to the MAX OPHÜLS PREIS.
The ceremony will take place on January 23, 2010 in Saarbrücken, Germany.
The official screening at the FILMFESTIVAL MAX OPHÜLS PREIS will take place on January 20, 2010 at 19.30. Additional screening on January 21, 22 and 23. Lior Shamriz (dir.), Imri Kahn (script) and some members of the cast will attend the screening.

The filming of the motion picture MIRRORS FOR PRINCES is finished.
The film, starring Horst Günter Marx and Imri Kahn, tells the story of a father and a son. Shooting took place in a house in Wandlitz, Brandenburg (Germany) and in a studio which was built especially for the shooting in Wedding, Berlin.
The film is written and directed by Lior Shamriz. Cinematography was done by David Schmitt, and the set was designed by Ole Kloss.
Also in the team were Alina Rojas (Ass.Director), Sander Houtkruijer (Ass.Camera) and Johanna Tauber (Recordist).

HO! TERRIBLE EXTERIORS will be screened at the HAIFA MUSEUM, ISRAEL, in a short films program, part of the city’s “Hag Ha’Hagim” festival, on two Saturdays, December 12 and 26.

SATURN RETURNS will have its world premiere opening the ONDE (“Waves”) section of the 27th TORINO (TURIN) FILM FESTIVAL (ITALY) on Saturday, November 14th 17.15.
The film, 93 minutes, tells the story of a relationship between Lucy and Galia, two young women living in contemporary Berlin. The film was written by Imri Kahn and Lior Shamriz and directed by Lior Shamriz, starring Chloe Griffin (Lucy), Tal Meiri (Galia) and Joshua Bogle (Derek).
More screenings at the Torino Film Festival will take place on Sunday, November 15th at 9.15 and Saturday, November 21st at 11.15

The short animation film by Lior Shamriz EIN KETZ LA’AHAVA (“There is No End to Love”, 2003) will be screened together with other short films about love in Tel Aviv.
The evening, curated by Liora Lupian and Yochai Matos will take place on Monday, November 9th, at 21.30 at AS Delly, Nahlat Benyamin Street 18.
