The film RITUAL will be screened on Wednesday, January 27 in London. The short film, made by Lior Shamriz for his ORPHAN STORIES cycle, is a hommage to Maya Deren’s Ritual in Transfigured Time.

The screening is part of ÖZLEM EXTRAVAGANZA, a one night event curated by Naama Yuria and Jack Barraclough in Ozlem, Ocakbasi Restaurant, Dalston, 85 Stoke Newington Road, London. Also in the exhibition works by Matthew De Pulford, Rachel Horwood and Imri Kahn. The event starts at 18.00

RITUAL in London

Two short Kaleidoscope videos by Lior Shamriz (SHELF and ORANIEN) from the series ORPHAN STORIES will be exhibited for one night only as part of a group exhibition at the “Night of Museums and Galleries” in Plovdiv (Bulgaria).

The exhibition, curated by Sabine Schaschl, Bettina Steinbrügge and Jakob Racek will also include works by Oscar Fischinger, Kenneth Anger, Jordan Belson, Michel Auder, Enrique Fontanilles, Jeremy Shaw, Raphael Danke, Philipp Gasser, Darius Ziura, Amy Granat. The exhibition will take place on October 2nd at the ART TODAY ASSOCIATION.
